problem connecting dm 600pvr s with dream up

hi all,problem connecting dm 600pvr with dreamup 1.3.1.0,1.3.1.2
and1.3.3.4,I press connect on whatever version,message saying
connection prepared,now switch on the dreambox,I turn power on,in the log panel it rekonises the dm600 saying 8.44.22 box type dm600pvr and that is it nothing else.oh by the way the dm600 has never been flashed before,and I am using a cross wired null modem cable.can anyone give me any advise, exept smashing it with a sledge hammer. cheers

Have you tried the version in this guide m8. There is a dm600 version.

shouldnt you be able to press the flash button at this stage if it has recognised the box

there is no flash,ping or erase button,just connect and exit
