Hi just wanted to no where I can get a guide on how to set my dreambox 500s up I have flashed it with darkstar 2 image but can't get it set up. Is there a better image to use.?

Due to the 500s being long unsupported a few of the images are not maintained no more so some features wont work without tweaking like the downloads section. I have tried possibly all the images for the DM500s and personally I find OpenPLi the best or PLi Jade 3 (use the maxvar version though as it is the barebone essentially without all the crap like extra skins that can't be uninstalled but can be installed and unistalled on the maxvar version) OpenPLi & PLi Jade are almost identicall I would choose for OpenPLi as its essentially a later version of PLi Jade. Flash it with OpenPLi then goto the system settings and software managment and download the latest menu, then you can install softcams, skins, ect. All very easily (I would download the Matrix skin "Black Basic" (or something along the lines one of the best skins I think)). Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
