    DM500s Bouquet update

Has anyone got the latest channel list / bouquets for the dm500s? Anyone have a quick guide on hiow to update its been about 24 months since i last did it.

Also ive looked in the downloads section and i'm struggling to find dreamboxedit, i'm guessing thats the program still required?

EDIT: By the way i'm running Commando 14 I think.

    Thanks

    Kevin

Did you manage to sucesfully flash the Commando 14.7 image to the box?
You should have got a "flash sucefull" message on Dreamup.
When flashing the box you use a Null Modem cable and not a serial cable.

why did you not use the onboard update option in the commando menu..??
most people who get bad flash after useing telnet usualy reboot box
after seeing the finnished in telnet window instead of waiting for the box to reset itself.

you need to manualy install then enable it via the menu
there is plenty of info if you look through some of the other commando threads posted in the 500img section.

Might help if you go BLUE > TuxCom > and read the 'Hints and Tips helpfile on your telly?

Particularly the 'Softcam' section! Two minutes reading often saves HOURS of head-scratching and Googling, LOL!

                        Cheers- AL
