Dead Box

Hello,just flashed this image (Digital Kaos v1.1 Image for Dm500 C/S/T) ( to my 500S, but the box is completely dead now. Tried to flash another image using Dreamup but the box is not recognized. Could somebody help me please.

Looks like you have done something wrong, did you read any tutorials first ???
As you are a newbie there is a steep learning curve so it VERY essential to do lots of reading first. All in the D/Loads section

Hello, thanks for the reply. I am familiar with flashing etc, have been working with cable boxes for a few years now. After I flashed the image the box seemed to reeboot ( blank tv screen ) but the old PLI image started, I then went to menu/reeboot, the box went off and never came back on. I plugged the box out and back in again and the green light would not come on. Cheers

If you can't get another different image loaded via ftp or dreamup, looks like you will be learning how to Jtag it .
