    setting up motorised dish

    i have a motorised dish and a dreambox 500s that i use for getting 8


    satellites
    it has always worked fine, i have just put a new image on the box and i am


    trying to find all the satellites again but i cannot seem to get a signal


    on any , i am sweeping from 0.8 all the way to 28.2 but not getting


    anything, am i missing something out, i am using the gemini image, please


    help

    Are you using the USALS method or via Diseqc 1.2 we need to know this before we can offer any help

      iam using diseqc 1.2 , i do not think the box supports USALS, thanks for helping me, ron

        You may be better loading a Multi-Sat list to the receiver so that all the satellites that are available to you are already in the box, Then just choose a strong transponder and nudge the dish to each location and save
