Key for Gemini on dreambox dm500

Im new to using the dreambox. I've got the gemini image set up on it, but dont know where i can download the latest 'fix/key' from. Can anyone point me in the right direction please. I'd be very grateful for any help.

what channels are you wanting keys for..??

I was hoping all of them. Are there different keys for different channels? Im mainly interested in entertainment and film channels. Im not sure how the satellite stuff works but when I had a cable dbox there was one key which gave access to all channels. Please enlighten me as to how it works and how I can obtain a key please

the only package that opens via keys is the Digi TV package on Thor 0.8W, you will need a minimum of a 1m dish to receive it in the UK (80cms for Scotland)..

Nothing else opens va keys im afriad, the encryption that broadcasters use has been uprated

I've just found some Keys for gemini (date 25/5/09). What sort of channels can i get with this? If its digiTV then what does that mean? (Sorry - v.new to all this)

Those keys are from May
They will be well out of date, you will get nothing to clear.

Do you know much about the Dreambox or have you just heard about it..??

If your answer is the latter then you may have bought a machine that is too complex.

To get the Dreambox working to its potential you need to have excellent Networking skills including enabling Port Forwarding on your router, be able to make your IP address static via DynDNS and be happy with using FTP (file Transfer Protocol) to transfer files..

As said only Digi TV (click here) is open at the moment and this too will be closed soon as it moves to a higher end encryption
