Hi guys,
I have just bought a dream box 500s from the internet, since my normal reciever is so old and started to freeze.
I was looking for normal reciever then I stumbled on this dream box
Never used the dreambox before but I read some good things about it.

I am educating myself in your forum to prepare myself before the reciever arrives and will be certainly needing some help.
1- I am wondering now if the reciever will be already set up to recieve FTA channels when I connect it and power up (as all other normal recievers with out operating systems).
2- How do I get it to recieve other not FTA channels ( can I recieve any more than the FTA).

hi thaal and welcome
yor dm500 will come as FTA what you need to do is load a new image on it.You will find some in the download section and guides of how to do this as for opening more channels try googleing the word cardsharing it can not be discussed on here
