My box crushed and have now reflashed it.

Where do i put the satellite xml, captain picard settings, and service files? im using flash fxp.

Not strictly the answer you are looking for, but can you not just download the picard settings from the image server, and let it all auto install for you?

I'd also suggest that once you get it all up and running again that you take a backup of the image with flashwizard. It will save you time and heartache next time your box decides to go mental on you!

if just adding sat xml it goes in /var/etc

Use dreamboxedit to send your channel settings i.e Capatins settings to your dreambox.

Thankz guyz. i have sent captains settings to dreambox. But i have made a mistake in sending the old file. There is a newer version released this year with HD. Will the old captains settings replaced if i flash the new version?
