DM500S picture quality?

Hi Guys

will anybody be kind enough to offer some picture improvement tips on the dm500s?

i'm currently using a 1m dish with what i assume a very cheap lnb, the signal strength im gettin is pretty good, but the quality
of the picture on my lcd tv is just awful!

i've set the dm500 av settings to rgb, pal 50 too, using a standard scart...but i just dont understand why the quality would be so bad? my starview 4's pic quality is miles better!

any help or advice would be much much appreciated.

welcome to european TV mate.. its nowhere near the quality of British tv

Check out ART Sports on 13E and Digitalb Sports on 16E.. they are the worst..
Also Sky Sport Germany is quite poor..

, mate we in the UK are really lucky to have such high quality pictures, this european TV will teach you how fortunate we are.
The best european provider for pic quality for me is Nova Greece, not sure what you guys think though. Canal nordic is good too. What channels you complaining bout BTW?

Sky Italia and the Canal+ networks are the best IMHO

to be honest i've just been watching digitv for the time being, and some sports channels there are just really poor...like digi sport, and sport 1....i cant even describe how bad it is!

but thanks for ur advice anyway.
