    DM500S default skins

    Hi Guys

im using the pli-jade image, and currently using some default skins for my osd.

but as some of you may already the default skins are not that kool!

i can go online and install some skins, but because my var is full up i cant do this....

is there any way i can get rid of my default skins (theres about 4 in the image) and make room in the var for some new ones?

    any advice would be appreciated.

    thanks in advance!

Goto uninstall panel or by ftp goto var-tuxbox and a few directories there will have the skin broken down into single files.

Read the Rules here; they apply to Everyone.

when i access the uninstall menu, all i see is my cccam and config, i dont see any records of these defualt skins in there...

      are they kept somewhere else?

or is there any other way to free some memory on my DB?

      thanks.

you can start by deleting the cable.xml and terrestial.xml files from var/etc

          ops

in my var/etc folder there is no cable.xml and terrestial.xmlfiles!

currently, the only installed apps are cccam panel, and cccam config.

any other way to free up just a little more space, so i can install a certain skin from the pli jade server?

          thnaks.

to be honest mate i dont really tart about with my box.. i just use the default skins as they are only on for 3 secs telling what channel im watching..

In my experience people who tart about with their boxes frequently run into trouble

You have no room in your var and you are using the Pli jade image? With CCcam, the total football plugin and the x-line skin all installed I still have 42% free.

You did load the max var image didn't you. Btw I only had one default skin in the image.

well i only have cccam 2.2.1 and the config on there...thats it...and its taken 68% of my var memory!

its really puzzling me.....but yes i do have pli-jade installed.....but not sure if its max var?

                  cheers mate.

                    PLi? Images website

                    Download the dm500mv image,

I was using nabilosat but loaded this on and it gave loads of free space.
