How can I get Unscrambled Sky Through the Dreambox DM500S

Hi,

PLEASE HELP! We just purchased a Dreambox DM500S and want to view sky through it which is scrambled. Please could anyone help with this as we only can recieve free to view channels through it at the moment.

Sky is not Hacked, and can not be Viewed without a subscription....

Card Sharing is possable but the subject is banned by the Admin on D.K I sugest if interested to Google it to find out more....

shame you didnt read the forum mate before you bought your box.. Sky UK is locked, not hacked, not open..

You will have to do something called 'Cardshare' which is a banned topic on here..

If your IT skills are not excellent, ie.. networking, making your IP Address static, creating linux code then im afraid you have wasted your money..

Even if you do sort it out the NDS encryption that sky use is so good it freezes and pixelates leaving it unwatchable..

The Dreambox is best used for opening European channels broadcast on other satellites.. Once again the only viable option is to cardshare..

you will only get the free channels
without subscribing to sky
unless you go down the cardshare route,which you would have to go on the net for more info as thsi subject cant be talked about on here

Dreambox's arent a simple reciever, they are capable of quite a bit, but there is a lot of learning to be done first..

Looks like you jumped in at the deep end before learning how to swim! But dont worry with a little bit of reading here and by googling you will get the box working in some form or another. Also might have been a better idea to purchase a 500c if you've got cable, completely different to satellite!

Look into cardsharing on google here We can not discuss such things on the open forums, but can learn a lot from google.

Opsmonkey every time I see sky mentioned you say it's crap via card share because it pixelates and freezes. All I can say is it works fine if set up correctly

yes mate.. i know how to get it working perfectly.. but it takes a lot of knowhow and the right files..

the vast majority of people who buy a DB just for clearing NDS have enough trouble plugging the right end in let alone messing about with provider files and filters

Are all sky premium channels scrambled? Just come from Ireland were Sky Sports and Sky Movies was unscrambled!

thats cable mate.. satellite is totally different..

Sky's services are wide open on Virgin Media Cable TV in the UK too

My dm500s clears so many channels I'd never be able to count them all and theres no glitching, freezing or breakup.
Then again I done my research
