i want to back up my image with all the files in it. I tried using flash wizzad pro. But on saving the file there is no choice for me to chose file type as .IMG . What should i do here?

Also if i save this image with all the settings, will it save details like satellite positions on the motor?

save it as the program saves it then with then rename it as backup.img

you are a star jackport. done it within seconds.

now, are my satellite motor locations saved as well? i have realised that each time i re-flash my box i have to set the motor position from scratch which is a time consuming excese.

my dish is set up ok but i cant lock on satellites automatically

Sorry i have no idea. I tried using the program to back it up but it doesnt work it gets stuck at reading cramfs or something.. Can you just tell me how to use it?

flash wiz pro will save it as a .fwz image and u can only flash back to box
using flash wiz pro....used to use it once but it can be unreliable
use dreamup to flash and backup an .img image with null modem
and crossover cables both connected tick use network and set correct ip's
and you can flash your box in 2 minutes
