not going on the net

i ave dm500s and no matter wat s/w i put on it wont connect to the net wat could be the problem i ave ip . but say cant connet to url.

Im not really sure what you mean when you say it cant connect to url do you mean maybe the Nabilosat download server? Thats currently down So if thats what you mean then your not the only one. Sorry if i have mis understood you.

hi everybody
set up my db500 s with 5 different sat but i can not connect internet and not connect receiver to pc with null modem cable
( it was no problem with my null modem cable used before with my old technomate 7755 receiver)
dream up doesnt work, click connect ,wait and wait nothing happend
i have wireless modem connect with cable to derambox
my dreambox is clone because there is only LAN option not WAN option
I have read set up manual english and turkish am i not writen ip"s correct place
I am going mad please some one help me

Are you able to connect your dm500 with ethernet cable to your pc if you cannot to your pc than you have faulty ethernet port on your dm500.

today i have try flash fxp to do something wrote ip of to receiver user and pass and click nothing happend

what kind of ip. i should give to dreambox.
pc:192.168.2.2 w.router:192.168.2.1 dreambox :? cable 15 m long is this the problem?

PS; dreambox new and how can fix if it is foulty port

there's nothing up with that length of cable, mine works perfecto on that length..

your router should automatically issue an IP address to any connceted items..

have you logged into your router and checked out the settings and address's..??

its best to make the Dreambox IP static on your LAN, you can do this via your router homepage..

If it is your ethernet port that is knackered you need to send your box back to the supplier
