dreambox backup

I have a dreambox 600, Gemini and using CCcam 2.0.9.
I would like to upgrage to a newer CCcam version perhaps the 2.0.11.
How can I backup my present dreambox file system on my pc in case I want to revert back to the old setup?

Use dreamup, make a complete backup of your working image, you can then do what you wish with the image on the box in the knowledge that if anything goes wrong you have a working backup to fall back on.

Just before you go any further, is your image working ok at the minute, if it is why would you wish to tamper with it ?

You should be able to update your cccam via the blue button, I use Gemini too and always update to the new cccam when they come out, this way, the old versions are still there should you wish to swap back.
