help opening a port for dm500

i want to access my dreambox remotely. I have tried to open a port but each time i try to ping access is being denied. I have allowed this port, 12001, to pass firewall but still no joy.

If anyone may help me how i can open a port. thanks

    Hi !

Have you set up a Dyndns Account ? or have you got a Static Ip address ? If you have a Dynamic Ip address your Ip address has probable changed to another and will not work ...

Also make sure your Dreambox Ip settings are correct and you have port 80 selected only change the port in Cccam in webinterface to 1200 along with a user name & password (or everyone can see it online)

DynDNS account login and overview. Proceed to My Services page to get detailed look.

And setup Inadyn on Dreambox /blue button

    Give some info ...

    Regards:
    Alun

To get the web interface type in your boxes' ip in your web browser. If you want to access the config file it is in the folder VAR\ETC

        THE TRUTH
        The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.
