DM500S keeps slowing down?

Hi everyone

my dm500s keeps slowing when im flicking through channels?

for example, it takes ages to get the channel menu when the tv button or any menu is pressed?

i sometimes have to reboot the whole unit, until it goes back to its normal speed again?

even when just normal channel hopping, up and down, it slows down really badly too!

any ideas what maybe causing this problem...memory perhaps?

im using the jade pli image with a clone box.

23% is ok,thats plenty free.
I am running Jade 3 myself.
I only notice slowdowns when using the Sqlite epg plugin which reads the epg off my networked pc as the 500s has a lack of memory .
Perhaps you are running some other plugin that is slowing the box down ?

the only plugin iv got installed is a a very small app called cccam panel

also the x line skin, along with cccam config, cccam softcam and a very small bouqet...

still cant figure out why, it slows down?

any of the above that i can delete that maybe not be important?

what exactly do you mean by slowing down?..those bits of apps won,t affect the dreambox m8,,there made for it..cheers satcat

Its RAM overload. You will need to leave the box by itself for a few mins whilst it catches up with itself.
