    new Dreambox dm 500s

    Hi all
I am a new comer to the Dreambox world. I just purchased a new Dreambox 500s. I have a legitimate service smartcard with canalsat France that I have used on a different receiver for sometime now.
I followed the installation of the receiver and all is fine except I do not see the encrypted channels even though I have inserted the subscription card.
Is there some additional setup that I need to do.
    Please help
    Al

Not 100% sure, but try installing CCcam & enable it in the settings. Insert card & re-boot.

Install an image (either Pli, Nabilo Darkstar, DK1.1 or Gemini NON BOMB) and then install cccam, add to that a softcam.key file and your done. CS isn't allowed to be talked about on these forums so you'll have to do some research elsewhere for that.

              Tanka,
In server download, choose cccam 2.1.2 download, install. Then choose config Cccam 2.1.2 download, install. Go into cam section choose your Cccam, choose provider(csat) press green button to stop/restart the cam. After that you should be able to decode the channels. Works perfect for me on Dream 600 PVR.
              Good luck.
