I have a dm500-s with the dk image how do i load keys can i manually enter keys to particular channels if so where would i find these

you need to install a softcam (cccam, mgcamd, etc) that will use a keyfile. You then need to download a softcam.key file for it to use. I have no experience with the DK image so can't help with installation/config.

You could download a plugin like the Satan Keyupdater to load the keys directly to your box from the internet.
