Dear All,

I have a dream box 500s clone with gemini 4.2 and i can see only vertical channels and none horizontial like Animal Planet and novacinema 2. Do you have any idea how can i solve this problem?

I am sure that the problem is in the dreambox because i tried an other one and it is ok. So it is not the lnb. Any other idea? e.g. settings in the dreambox?

If you think it may be the settings start again from scratch. Reload a different image, download the channels list then try the channels again. If a different box is working on the same lnb and you've tried a different image then it could well be the tuner in the box.

I forgot to tell you that the specific channels could not be downloaded at all!

Yes, you could try fault finding. As I said try a new image, scan for new channels or download a channel list via your blue button. If all is still not well after that then it MAY be your tuner in the box.

Is the box new? Have these channels ever worked? What is the signal and quality strength on the vertical channels on Hotbird?

I have flashed this image 3 times! I have tried it also to an other DM and it is working fine! I had a problem with this DM with the time bomb! I gave it to my supplier and he fixed it. Before the gemini time bomb it was fine! After the fix i have this problem. The signal and the quality strength on the vertical channels on hotbird are excellent!
