I think you are just wasting our time as we have given you lots of information to set up your dm500 but so far you have not read any of the information provided or even attempted any of the instructions that have been given to you.

Don't go into that way mate, I knew you have given much info, but my box was not original and I have returned it, can you guide me where can I get the original box in uk

Furthur advise on DM500s

hello sat expert,

what is don't understand is ?

will i get all channels as on cable if i use satellte, after it has been flashed, cam installed and connected to satellite dish?

i am currently in cable area and will soon move a non cable area. i am planning on getting a dm500s, can you please advise what will happen or what to do next after the above has been done..

you will not get exactly the same channels as you do with cable.. you will get lots more but you will not get the s&y channels you are currently thinking of that you get with a subscription..

When you say, i won't be getting sky channels, are you referring to sky action,drama,comedy...sky sport1,2,3,..etc...

will other channels received include sports channels and movie channels ?

sorry, haven't got sat yet... am just researching on it at the moment..getting ready for the move.

you will not get these without a subscrption as $ky is not hacked, they use a completey different encryption called NDS... You wil get loads more channels but I will bow out here and leave it to the sat guys to give you more details on what you can realistically expect to pick up with either a static dish or motorised dish...
