    In Windows 7 you need to enable it i.e;

Control Panel > Programs > Turn Programs on or off > Telnet > tick.

Start > Run > telnet 192.168.x.xxx where x=ip address of your box.

That sound easy, I can see the program, do I put the tick in the (Telnet cient or Telnet Server)?

        I think it's the server...

I might be wrong but I didn't think you could convert a .img file to .nfi file or vice versa for a dm600.

when doing a manual update it looks for a img , l just rename and it finds it

Ok, will have a look @ that option,
be good as a .img coz in the DCC program there is an (update flash-image) section & the only images it will take are (.img + .bin), not the .nfi.

But I must admit I am a bit worried about tricking the box with a renamed image.

I don't remember seeing manual update in the menu, but then again I have only been playing around with it 2day.

                      Completly different from my Dbox2..

Hi smirnoff been trying your method but can't seemto find a way round it in the Dream menu ;-(

                                Menu for (Setup):
                                1. service organising = bouquet
                                2. service searching = sat searching
                                3. system settings = time, a/v settings, keyboard settings, osd settings + lang
                                4. parental lock = parental lock
                                5. expert setup = communication, ngrab, remote control, factory reset, + a few (tick options) for zapping history & teletext caching ect.
                                6. timeshift = activation of timeshift.
                                7. blue-panel = start restart cam, enable auto-cam, camd setup, addons: (downloaded from gemini server), extras setup: automount, calender, alarm clock, epg setup, swap file, password, file browser, created backup + restore backup.

The only one that comes close, is (created + restore backup),
so in the restore backup I directed it to the /temp, but it did not see the .img image that was in there.
So went to the (created backup) & in there were some (tick boxes) for enigma + gemini settings, satelites.xml, adons + plugins/skins & chosen directory /temp, also the name of the backup file is (Gemini_backup.sh).
