line out of a dream 500s

hi everybody.

i have a dream 500 s working ok in the living room.

now i want to take a line from the line out (back of the dream) to another box in the kitchen, an edision 1100 transformed in satycom.

will it work?ou does it work only with another dream?

Is it a linux box ?
does your share give you the ability to reshare your line. ?

yes to both questions.

my problem is that i?m affraid of burning the dream if i put another box at the end of the line out( an edision 1100).i was told it works with a dream...

ah what do you mean line out ?
you mean using CCcam through network or you mean pslitting the picture to go to 2 rooms ?

i use cccam 2.1.2

at the back of the dream there?s an LNB out socket.from there i take a line(a cable,just as the one that comes in from the antena LNB) to another box, which i want to be the edision 1100.

Ah ok now i understand.
Well the line out should work as the tuner works in a loop.
I would suggest tho that your simply run another feed from your sat dish.

The main reason for this :- if your Dm is turned off then unplugged etc you will lose the feed.

your tip is good, but the edision is kind of raw. i don?t know what soft to put in to receive the flowers (). i just transformed it into a satycom.

as you know the net does not go into the edision.....

you wouldnt be able to use Ccam or any other emu then.

If your lookign to share then youll need an alternative box ie the dm500s - simple and effective.
