Missing some channels on dreambox DM500

    Hello
I have some problem with my dreambox DM500...
On hotbird i can't get the two TV5, france 24 and some others free channels,
on Astra, can't get NRJ 12, and some others...

is it a LNB setting problem, or a signal problem ?

i precise, with my older receiver, i get all those missed channels without noise, or problem... (tv5europe, tv5 monde, Nrj 12, etc...)

Have you tried "eagle sat generator" to get channels for required satellite, then just ftp to box?

It should work on Clpne and non-clone boxes.

All you do is decide which satellites you want and then transfer.

I found then that I had to rescan satellites ans channels were there.

      Hope this helps.

sorry it should read clone and none-clone boxes.

      i think i need a new keyboard.

Go to Nabilosat and download latest settings---all channels OK.

          Hello
With a better signal on astra and hotbird, i got all the missed channels ...
In reality, all the channels with frequencies up to 12000 caused me problem...
Now, with a new cable, and new dish setting it's ok...

I think, the Dreambox DM500 tuner, is'nt very powerful, and you need to have really gool signal (up than others cheapest receivers)

          Thanks for the answer...
