    sky uk white card Vrs dreambox 500s

    I still need help getting to wk with my deambox 500s or 7025+
    both with gemini image installed.
    Its wked with newcs for 2 months and burnt the card !!!!

    some where saying smargo card reader!! help needed!

    i wonder is Gemini imege safe for Optibox 550s, one of Dreambox cone. Some say it is not.

      if it worked for 2 months i would say its the 500 s problem all nds cards run hot in 500. use config creator and set clock speed 5.8 or better still smargo in 7025.

        You overclocked the card reader wrong if it burnt the card. You need to have your card being read at about 630mhz but quality of card reader will change this figure.

          As Jackpot said, the white card runs @ a lower Freq than the blue. (630mhz)
          I know you can edit the "newcs-default.xml" file to adjust it from 715mhz, down to 630mhz.
          That will prob work with external card readers, (Phoenix ect)

          But I don't think that method works well with the dreambox, as they do tend to run very hot, unless you can fit a fan to keep the card cool.

            my mhz was 536 in dreambox 500s!!

            i think external card reader wd do!
