dreambox 500s

i wqas reading up a tutorial and ithought i had it all sorted...but wat i was reading was dm500c instead of 500s - do u know where theres a tutorial for 500s..and will a normal sky dish do? oh yh...and thnx for the previous help

i would start by reading this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ighlight=guide . you can use a sly dish but will only recieve the freesat without a sly sub or cs << not to be talked about on this forum. i would go for a motorised dish.

no im affraid its a secure encryption so can only recieve what you pay for on sky. there are options to get the sky package but it will require you to go else where (Google) for this as its not allowed here at digital kaos

hi guys im a bit confused which box to buy can anyone tell me what is better/easier a dreambox 500 or tm 500 or 600 any help thanks

the dreambox 500s are all clones you would be hard done to find a real one but they are very well supported there can be problems with moving motors on them but its not a very common problem
the tech 500 + 600 are a new box which only came out this year they have a strong tunner and are all genuine there is a lot of images out for them and there is good reports as technomate alway have made top gear
the price are very simlar if i was starting from fresh i would be tempted to get the technomate as it will have a full warrenty

yes it would but belive me you will want a motor and a 80cm min dish 1m if can
using a sky dish is like buying a lamborghini and converting it to diesel

Loving the quote here , yeah i would say go for the 1M as you would get stronger signal and more channels, and prob more football ect.

I would personally speaking go for a full motorised set up with a DM500S, your looking at about ?215 for all this, then you could install yourself you get someone else to.
