    missing channels

    i have a dm500. i have a fully paid for s*y card but i can only find some of the channels. i have tried to manualy scan in missing ones using details from lyngsat. where am i going wrong.
    config is:-
    kernal linux 2.6.9 release 0440
    gemini
    cccam 2.0.9

    Are you using a sky minidish or a motorised dish?

    Missing channels usually means your dish is out of alignment.

      dish is a 1.2M fixed not getting sky news i am an installer allignment correct

        Sky news is on 12207.00 V 27500 2/3.

        Go into the motor setup page and choose these settings, see what the SNR % is like on that transponder.

          do you have the option to do a manual or transponder scan for the missing channels
          this should be for sky news

          polarisation>vertical
          inversion>off

            i have same problem on a clone 500 so got an eagl works a dream could be tuner fault
