    Openmedia and sky dish

had an openmedia 500cs sitting in cupboard for almost a year now gathering dust, only used it once on cable. Anyway just been given sky dish and toying with the idea of sticking up just for something to do really.
Anyway just wondering what channels I'd get with the dish set up for sky or if it would be better pointed at other sat?
    Any help appreciated.
    cheers

Theres a tonne of info on the sat section about what you will get and where to point dishes.

    Have a look.

Whilst you have the time and the inclination spend the time looking into it because the end is nigh for cable.

This will make you laugh, I subscribe and pay for cable because the wife can't handle me flicking through all the hundreds of channels on sat because it makes her feel sick! All of the sat guys will tell you that once you have sat you couldn't give two hoots about cable.

Thats what put me OFF getting a technomate and motorised dish couple of years ago - the thousands of channels, i'd never ever what anything I'd just flick thinking I was missing something!!!

I know thats what I tell the missus.
Thing is though you find something good and decide to watch it UNTIL the adverts come on , so you flick then find something else but then forget about the original one. Smoking weed doesnt help either!
I remember years ago my brother set his video to tape star trek so left his (analogue) cable box on the channel .
Any he rewinds the tape the next day to watch star trek and all he got was a recording of my flicking non stop!
