hi guys i have been on here with same problem some time ago my old dreambox 500s clone cant put image on it tried dream up it says box alive and speaking but when you flash it at the end get error any new software out now to fix this problem cheers

can you factory reset dm 500s

tried lots of images is there a factory reset for thes boxes or format or drivers some think like that want to give this box to friend he just starting out would like to fix if possible cheers if anyone can help

have you got a 500 plus or 500 because they diffance files have a read of this post

dm500plus uses openembedded images do they not?.. i.e .nfi images,

are you using a usb to rs232 adaptor if so try a old pc with a rs232 port(old printer port) on it

most old dreambox need a offical image first then you can flash one over the top of it now with flash wiz pro should take most images one you have built up a image back it up with flash wiz pro save you alot of work again

if you loaded a blank image send these setting over to it var tuxbox the image will then be set up for a motor with channel and sats install you will only need to add cams and refresh the scan http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...satellites.zip

hi back again dreambox 500s gone down again was working fine last night today worked for a while then just box just freeze cant turn on or off can you put firmware on on them boxes or should i just dump it tried to flash it again but keep getting error lockbits
