DM518S or DM500S

Hey guys...

I'm new here and would like to buy a Dreambox but need help in deciding.

I've been to www.dvbkey.com aka www.500s.us and looked at the "New Version Dreambox 500S." The model number on the case is DM 518-S and according to the description it has better specifications than the DM500S. It also has an internal power supply unit.

Has anyone here bought this model? Is it better than the 500S? Would it be better to buy a model with an external PSU?

Hi,
Its exacaly the same just with a few modifications. There will be no performace difference at all as they come from the same factory as DM500S clones, if you want one you could get one from UK anyway.

I'm in South Africa. Would it be better to buy from dvbseller or linuxsat. If I buy the ?35.37 DM500S from linuxsat and have problems, can I send it back to the UK?
