HD problem with Dreambox DM 600 PVR

I've just installed HD to my DM 600 PVR as described in the manual.
Everything went well, I could instant record program and play it.
The problem begin with timer record. There was massage show that it could not record due to storage inaccessible.
I format HD again, this time no luck. When i perform partition check, there was error massage pop up show that it not supported filesystem for check.
I really appreciated for your help.

Are you formatting your hard drive on your pc and than installing because if you are than that won't work. You need to format your hard drive in your dreambox as it is a different operating system to your pc.

I've formated with Dreambox. It's still unable to record with timer.

Where did you get the HDD from mate? Can you be sure it is not faulty, do you have the facility to connect (slave) it to a PC or laptop where you can do a full integrity check and low level format?

          Try the following;
          1. remove it and connect to a PC
          2. Right click my computer-manage-disk management
          3. locate the HDD
          4. Delete partition
          5. Create partition-go through the process-will say healthy partition
Now fix it back in the dreambox
format for linux in the dream box
try it and see-it should work!

try taking it out , and do you have a spare laptop ?

if so, format the drive to FAT32, scan drive for errors, then try back in DM600

if the HDD has jumpers on the back, check its set to master.

2.5 IDE has no Jumpers to set.
