DM-500 Clone gone dead

Hi there

Hope I dont need to use JTAG on this one.
I have connected the dreambox clone with Dreamup. It recognize the model type DM-500, but then nothing happends.

I had installed Gemini 4.50 on it, and it worked great. Then suddenly it goes dead. The green light is on, when power is on, but nothing happends.

Someone who has a great idea, besides JTAG?

you shouldn't be using any Gemini version higher than 4.2 on a clone.. try flashing an erase.img then reflash with gemini 4.2.. both in our download section..

I think your box is gone ! Gemini 4.3 and above have Clone time Bombs and will kill all clones onto which they are installed.

Hi, you can restart it with jtag method. In fact, your bootloader is dead.

Just do a quick search fror DM500 JTAG.

Here in our part of the 3rd world we get this all the time due to power spikes. Try and reflash the box with an old original enigma from DMM (old version rel06 or the likes) and you may find it comes back to life.

Then reflash it with the image of your choice (I am biased to the PLi software) and you maybe back in business with out having to JTAG it.
