how do you delete single channels on the dreambox 500s which are no longer available ?

do you mean not available to you or not available through cease of broadcasting..??

if its the latter rescan.. if its just because you cant clear them i dont see the point

its channels like e.g setanta and duplicated channels like channel 4 i have it 10 times

Bring up your channel list on your screen and press menu on remote. You should now see a list of options you can do with your channel.
