Will my Sky card burn out in DM500s

I am running a Sky UK white card in a DM500s via newcs + cccam 2.1.2. I have the clock speed at 368mhz. I have been told by some it will work fine, the others have told me it will work but it will burn the card eventually.
Is there a definate answer or anyone using the same setup as me ?

Will the omnikey 3111 serial card reader work with this specific box?

Also how do i know if the card is begining to burn? How hot should the card get before i HAVE to remove it?

    Cheers Guys !

have you seen this in the other thread..??

The overheating effect was discovered in the older versions of CCcam but has been overcome in the updated version of 2,1.3-----------I use in Dream 7020's and 500s with no problems.
Any minor overheating in 500s can be cured by raising the height of the box by applying cork bottle stoppers to the four rubber feet and also ensuring plenty of airspace around the apparatus.
My boxes are on 24/7 and so far no problems here or reported to me.

OK. I have been told me a very knowledged member here that the sky uk White card has a tolerance of 5.5 mhz. Im not sure if he wishes to be named.
I will be migrating the card into a cooler tm500 once i can successfully configure newcs for that receiver.

You dont need newcs anymore. Just use CCcam 2.1.3. That will read the card and AU the rights.

Are we talking mhz or vdc or both ?
