You can't buy a genuine 500 anymore, they don't make them.
You can buy a genuine 600 but i personally think theres no difference between clone and original. Just don't flash a clone with the Gemini image.

only the first DM500-OEM Chinese copies came with a black remote
originals and then later clones had these mate..

Why bother with getting a clone dm500s, when you can get a original Technomate Tm500/600 instead. I have a dm500s & a Tm600 to mess about with, and i have to say the Tm600 is a better machine by a long way. The build quality of the Tehnomate is fantastic compared to the dm500s. It looks far better with its " piano black front " and the picture is a lot clearer...You also get a RF output on the Technomate so you can connect it to a distribution amplifier and then send it all over the house ( whch is what i have done ) Also the remote control for the Tm600 is a better built device. There is a lot of support for the Dreambox compared to the Technomate, and that is the only good thing it has between the 2 boxes. You can get a Tm600 for about ?80 from ebay, and in my opinion its the better buy.

TM600 is far better than dm50 and eagle and I have had them all.Comment
