Picture breaks after a few hours use

    Hi

This is my first post so please be gentle.

I have a Dreambox 500s and it all seems to be working fine. The only problem I have is that if I keep the system switched on after about 4 hours the picture really pixellates until I do a system restart. It is not too big a deal but a little annoying and I'd like to fix it.

I'm running Gemini 4.20 with CCcam 2.1.3. Would an update to Gemini 4.60 solve the problem?

    Thanks

If it's a clone theres only one safe image of Gemini. Have you tried any different images to see if it improves ?

      THE TRUTH
      The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

The Dreambox is not a clone but I loaded the Gemini 4.20 to be on the safe side because everywhere said it would work with genuine and clone devices.

I haven't tried any other images yet as everything is working. I think I will try to load Gemini 4.60 to see if that improves things. Do you know if that is the latest version?

        Thanks

When did you purchase your dreambox 500?T load anything from gemini above version 4.2 unless told to. These have clone bombs. Try PLi Jade 3 or Nabilosat v 0.8.

PLi Jade is a good image but version 2 has the movieplayer functionality where ver3 doesnt.

For me, PLi / Nabilosat / DK any of them 3.

is your box hot..?? sometimes if the internals get hot it can affect picture quality.. make sure you have good airflow over the box or if not install a fan or use a laptop cooler if you have a device with a USB port near
