dreambox 500s epg
how do i get the full epg on without clicking on a channel before it comes up. i click on channels then it comes on but all channels are blank until then?

They are blank because you need to tune it to a transponder that one of the channels is on for the dm500 to retrieve the epg data. Most channels only carry a now and next epg rather than a full 24hour or weekly.
The only way to get epg data before you view the channel is to grab it from the web. If you are using the pli image it has it's own plugin that grabs Digital + and Sky UK epgs.
