Newbie Setup on 500s

Hi

I'm gonna take the plunge from cable to sat.

I fully understand 500c, and with that in mind I'm gonna get 500s.

I have 2 x 500c at the moment.

If I get a motorised 1m dish and 2 x 500s can I watch different channels at the same time (what stops one user trying to move the dish to ruin other users viewing). Is it a case of just being careful or is this issue managed by software/hardware.

You can watch different channels on the same sat but if you want either box to move the motor than you are going to need a switch but I am not quite sure what it is called exactly.
