    ftp component not resdy

    i have my dream 500 s working fine on my pc, with fiscstream.

    however, the dcc 2.95 ( and other versions) is not running properly. that is, it says ftp component not ready !!

    so i cannot see the files...

    i have the Kaspersky anti virus (v 2010)...and i disabled the router and the xp pro firewall..but to no avail

    does anyone have a clue?

          I use a program called Coreftp tto copy files between pc and dreambox. It is free and very easy to use, might worth trying a different program.

              i believe so.if i connect the laptop it works fine without changing the ips
