need help with 500-s just need some files

hi i recently bought a technomate 1500+ CI and a dreambox 500-s. So i have my dreambox looped to my technomate so im on thor and on my technomate i can get all the channels. But on dreambox i can scan all the channles but i cannot watch them apart from the music channel and maybe another 2. So last night i spent hours looking for the files to ftp to the box but every link i try does not download so the links must be down as im able to download other files i try on here so can someone please help me out. The dreamox i bought is brand new and had gemini on it when i plugged it in and i have it set up on my router i can ftp to it but when i go to the plugins menu and try and get it to download it doesnt seem like it is downloading anything and the second time i tried it said http error 404 or something. So im wondering i know my box is a clone so should i install nabilosat on it or something else and if so can someone recommend me a image and give me a working link to the file's i need to ftp over to the box please as i have tried looking myself and been reading. But the links are just showing a white blank page when i try to download them as it was the dreambox key updater i was trying to download cccam the newest one is one i need aswell if this is the one i should use and id like any other files that id need if anybody has them please

hi mate im using nabilosat dm500 image v.0.6.1
i have found this to be a good image to download the addons
image should be in the stickys above if you get stuck pm me and i will send it i don't know if im allowed to upload it here i don't wan to break any rules good luck

im also new to thor stuff and don't know what im looking for to clear channels hopefully we can both get help here

extract file and ftp to temp folder and rename to root.cramfs

goto software update on box and pick manual

I am a fan of the Pli images and you could try this one from the download section. Once you have flashed the image make sure you are connected to the intenet and then download the l,atest menu from the Pli site through the software management menu. Download and install CCcam 2.1.3 cam & config. You should also download the channel settings such as the capatins settings from their web server. If you don't have c/s capability then you are going to some sort of a key updater plugin.

I think you have an old image of gemini and their links has stopped working as they change their servers, the links are broken. I recommend Pli as it works very well with the dm500s.

all due respects guys in no way am i knocking any image but i had pli for ages and i could never lock onto thor i tried nabilo and it worked a treat curious123 helped me about 6 months ago on same subject too i think its horses for courses no disrespect to anyone the guys that do these images are fantastic and i respect them all and anyone else on forum this is what its for

i must say at time i had pli image i think they had a server problem too so as i said im not knocking any images at all cheers guys

Ok i installed jade but i dodnt like it too much and when plugged in to router it wouldnt download my plugins so i have now loaded nabilosat and it downlaods plugins and everything no bother so ive downloaded the satan key updater and ccam ect but i still do not have any nagra channles on thor should i not have a keys.text file in my keys folder as at the moment i do not have any files in there . I only have the satan key riles in the tuxbox plugin folder so could you tell me what im doing wrong please i do not need a card in the box to watch nagra channels do i ? As i do not have in my technomate but i do have 2 white sky cards and 1 blue one would these work in my dreambox 500-s even just to let me watch the free channles and more hopefully

becuase of me having alot of bother searching for sats and setting them up properly im still no 100% sure i have my technomate on astra 28.2E . But i do have it moving to thor and to siruis and arabsat and hipsat ect is there any channles i can check for sure that is on astra 28.2E so i know for a fact im definetly on it for example whats some free channels and whats some nagra channels on it ect
