DM500S and Bouquets

Im trying to use DreamEdit to load up the sky bouquet i downloaded from here like i did for my dm800, but it doesn't seem to work.

I loaded the bouquet into the program and sent it to the dream box, rebooted it and it still doesnt appear in after pushing the blue button for bouquets.

any ideas?

your dm800 is enigma2 were as your 500s is enigma1 so the sky bouquet is for enigma2 thats why it wont work you need to download enigma1 sky bouquet

and sometimes you have to unplug the electrycity cable and wait for some minutes and replug it to be able to get the changes.

Change your settings to Type 2 on dreambox edit then it should work, also in options make sure you change it to enigma 1..

Sorry I never tried them myself so didn't realise they were Enigma2. Try these ones from my dm600;

when i upload bouguets via dreamboxedit on to my dm500s which one do i need to choose (Options) satellite receiver,cable receiver,version 3 settings(enigma2) or new enigma settings. I am using nabilosat darkstar 2

choose satellite receiver, in options and toggle settings to type 2

Try this Sky UK channel list. (Bang upto to date as per the official Sky EPG)

I went through the same issues, these will load straight into your DM500, just click on reload settings in dreambox option after file completion. Wait for your dreambox to restart. Job done!

I just downloaded and it worked for me. I was doing an import with DreamBoxEdit and it just kept losing my import afterwards. Then I did an update of the satellites.xml from the tools menu and everything was OK. I have a lot of redundant entries but SKY UK is showing (I can delete the ones I don't need)
