      Turn off modem router and box then restart modem router and box all should be picked up and working I've never had to port forward a router to connect to a server.

        Dank, you dont seem to be too clear with What you want to do. Your cams themselves will not open anything, they need a server connect line in the config to do this.
        Now, unless you want to host a server within your house you do not need to forward any ports.
