DM500 problem

I have a problem with my dreambox,I can't find a pasword anywhere,I try -dreambox by the default but that is not the one.I have gemini image installed

I think password is blank. As ftp normally needs a pass to work you need to set one.

Standard on Gemini is user=root pass=dreambox and this is the same on all DM500 images I know of other than the Eagle image which is user=root pass=eagle.

If you are using Gemini make sure your receiver is either an original DM500 (unlikley if you've only purchased recently), or make sure you are using a clone safe Gemini image. If it's a clone safe image it's poss. that the default password has also been altered... Check the docs/readme that came with the image.
