Dreambox 500-2 help

hi i hav just got a dreambox 500-S and wanted to get started i alredy hav it loaded wit sum fimware but i dont know how to tell which one it is?? please can someone help me find out info bout it.. n pls educate me bout CAMs... n all that i need to know.. PLEASE PLEASE

People see it as ignorant making your 1st post looking for someone to walk you through the whole setup of your box when you couldn't be bothered to intoduce yourself first or do a liitle research on it yourself!

press menu on the remote and then info , you should see stream info and about , go down to about and press ok. this will show you what image version you have. you should also the image name when you start up the box (example) nabilosat darkstar11 or gemini etc. your image may come with a cam or you could add one to it via addons .
