Sub Titles Not Available

I am running a 500s on PLi Jade v1.9 27-06-2009 , all is well except I cannot access subtitles. I used to be able to call up subtitles but this feature seems to have been "erased".

Currently I am on astra/eurobird 28E.

Can any one advise how I can get the subtitle feature functioning again?

have you tried text - p888

also audio - sometimes lists subtitles
