DM500s (running on Gemini 4.7)

All,

Kindly need your Help on my 2 X DM500s.

1. The first Box which i bought has Gemini 4.7 installed. But i dont see any Flash image example (Barry Allen or similar) Do i need this? How can i install Cccam 2.14 and how to get and put the keys and in which folder? At the moment it only shows that i have (Common interface)

2. My second box problem is, that it was running on Gemini 4.7 and i used Flash Wizard install a new image. Now when i connect my box to Ethernet dont allow me to Ftp, saying telnet login incorrect.
If needs to be reflashed how any solution would be respected.

Hi can anybody help me to set up and use dreamboxs ,
how can i search for satellite channells my dish is tuned for the astra satellite.

When i switch on my box for the first time the set up wizard did not appear to guide me ,

If you have clone dreamboxes, stay away from gemini images until you understand what you are doing, otherwise you can kill your box.

Try dk image from the download section.

Thanks i manged to downloade from Blue button Cccam 2.1.4

Now, do i need a image to Flash ? or i should be ok when downloading the keys for Cccam ? I know keys goes to
/Var/keys
Now when i want to edit or add special channels code, which file should i edit to add the code ?
1. is it SoftCam.Constant.cw,seca,nagra1,nagra2 or any other files?

If you want to upload keys, you should use ftp and not telnet. Have a dig around the forum and all will reveal m8.

I am not sure if it is a Clone DM500s , but when i bought it Gemini 4.6 was already installed and all was working fine.
For some stupid reason i clicked on factory reset and i lost all.
Then flashed an image now can`t connect to FTP Telnet is keep complaing incorrect password login.

Just put it in tmp folder and do a manual install

In what form does the CCcam 2.3 has to be, ie: zip, rar, taz, etc ?, before it goes into the tmp folder and which tmp ?, tmp or var /tmp ?
