hi, i have a technomate that i have patched but i have been thinking of getting a dreambox dm500 is this box patchable and how do i do it, if any one can help

It's not patchable as such. To view encrypted channels you need to look into card sharing . Talk is not allowed on here but theres plenty of info on the net.
