Hi guys, on the subject of card interface. I have a dm500s and have an official conax digitalb card and am trying to view supersport on 16e. It is paid up subscription so would expect it to clear but screen is blank?? When i go into softcam settings i only have ccam 2.14 and cant find anywhere that i can change to card slot. The dbox is finding the card info so it must be able to read it? I am using pli image. Any suggestions??

Reads it on 214 100%, make sure card chip is facing down. -

Hi again, yes i have 2.14 but when i move dish to 16e and try to view ssport the screen is black and stays like this? Is there something else i need to do or should the dbox automatically select the card in the card slot? Sorry if i sound confused....its coz i am!! Thanks in advance.Comment

in your browser (IE or Firefox) type your dreambox ip address then put :16001
eg..
192.168.1.10:16001
click on the Entitlements tab..
Does it say your card is in or does it say:
card reader /dev/sci0
no or unknown card inserted

from here it looks like your entitlements ran out in 2008 - those are dates at the end ..Comment

Conax card
Hi, no my card is not expired, its when i purchased it originally. I have subscribed since then yearly, this time it is valid until august/sept 2010. I also have a tm6900 super hd receiver and it will clear ssport on 16e no problem. Doesnt however clear on my dm500s, i was wondering if i had to do something else? I have changed from pli to nabilosat image and can now select common interface (presume this is the card slot?) but still not clearing???Comment
