dm500s freeze

hi, i recently bought a 2nd dreambox ( 500s clone) for my spare room and flashed D K 1.1 image successfully but when i go into addons menu or try to update from internet the 500s seems to freeze, the internet side of it seems fine ,im connected to internet through my router . bought my receiver from - linuxsat co uk .

I had the same problem few months back turn out to be a bad flash need to upload image via rs232 port n not over network then all was fine
but could be diffrent for you but always worth a try

I will flash the gemini image and see if it does any better,cheers.

hi, flashed with 2 other images via null modem cable and still had the same problem , so i flashed with gemini and it is accessing bp stuff fine, problem sorted thanks to this forum !!
