    Dreambox dm600 pvr bricked (dead)

    Hi friends,

    I have a DM600 PVR and my brother make a fail firmware upgrade, and now i cant use. When i turn on i see 2 lights (red and green). I have some serial and ethernet cables, so anyome can give the way to ressucite my box: is necessary a jtag method: where i can the original dm600 pvr image: thanks.

      Have you tried flashing a new image using a null modem and dreamup ?

              You need a null modem cable which connects your box to a pc and Dreamup software and an image both available from the downloads section. Look here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...dreamup-42950/

                  Yes,

                  i got a null cable, connect to the box, click on connect on DreamUP, and turn on the box, and i got this:

                  17:36:38 Tipo de box: DM600PVR
                  Found injectable DCA at pos 219845

                  So, maybe using the null cable isnot possible, can you help me?

                      Im using Universal DreamUP V1.3.0.2 (DEBUG)
                      A usb serial adapter connected with a null cable on my dreambox. The port used is COM6 (only).

                          Try a later version of Dreamup. 1.3.3.4 is the latest iirc.
