dm500s flashed with wrong image

hi guys one of my friends has a dm500s but flashed it with the wrong image and said now it just stays on a blue screen he said i can have the box for a small price but would it be worth buying i already have one but am still learning how to use it. would it just be the case of flashing his box with a new image

give him a fiver and kick in the balls or stick the nut on him and tell him he's a greedy baastard

then take fiver back of him and anything else you can salvage from him, mind check his socks as thats where all the gready baastards keep cash

you should be able to reflash it ,do a flash erase fist and i would think it will work fine.

so if i erase the old image and put a new image on hopefully it will work ill offer 20 and see what he says cheers guys

also getting a 1m moterised dish how do i get the channel list do i just scan the satellites and they will appear

just do it you can always jtag it

once the box is flashed and you hook it up to the tv ,the first things you will see are prompts ,like tv type pal ,language english etc . you will get a prompt to choose a satellite if its the sky sat you want choose astra/euorobird 28east ,and then when it says valid transponder found press ok it will then scan for all channels on that satellite.

Some images have channel lists available to download via the server others. If not loading one to the box is straightforward.

thanks for the help guys still learning. when i connect my box to dcc it says enigma2 not detected (functionality limited) is this anything i should change or ok to leave like this thanks
